Who We Are?

Centenary United Methodist Church is a community of Christ followers with the goal for each person to have an authentic relationship with Christ by strengthening and transforming lives by living and sharing Christ’s love. We have a long history in the Danville, Kentucky community dating back to 1788.

First Time at Centenary?

We know how stressful visiting a church for the first time can be and we hope to answer a few of your questions here before you attend. If these areas don't cover your question, please feel free to contact us and we'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

What To Expect

We are a casual and friendly congregation so be prepared for people to come up to you and introduce themselves and want to get to know you and your family. We have parking that is available both around the Christian Life Center as well as parking around the Sanctuary depending on which service you'd like to attend. When you enter the parking lot, just follow the information signs.  During the 10:00 a.m. hour, we have our Sunday school for children, youth and adults. This is a great time to grab a cup of coffee and get any questions you may have answered.

Children's Church

Each service has Children's Church for our Preschool and 1st graders. We are currently using the Godly Play curriculum. We encourage our 2nd through 5th graders to attend worship with their families.

Worship in American Sign Language

Here at Centenary we proudly offer worship translated for our American Sign Language Community. We are happy to serve the many folks in the Danville area who desire this, as we invite everyone to take next steps in their relationship with God! Click on the button below to go to our Facebook page where ASL worship can be viewed during our 9:00 AM Contemporary Worship Service.
